Tony Brence is a professional saxophonist and music educator who has had a love and interest in music from a young age. He is currently the Director of Bands at Daybreak Middle School, as well as a private instructor of saxophone and clarinet through Music World in Battle Ground. He is a recent graduate of the University of Idaho Lionel Hampton School of Music with a B.Mus in Music Education, Saxophone Performance, and Jazz Studies. He has a wide variety of playing experience in classical, jazz, funk, rock, and other styles. He has been a featured performer at the North American Saxophone Alliance conference, and was chosen to perform with the 2022 Grammy Museum Affiliate Collective. Tony is passionate about spreading the joy of music through his work in education, and performing on stage.
