By day, Ben is a mild-mannered acoustical consultant, but by night… he’s a mild-mannered bass trombonist. He’s also an arranger, website designer, live sound engineer, and recording/mastering engineer whenever he can fit it in.
Ben started playing trombone in elementary school when his teacher said, “You’re tall, you’re playing trombone.” It turned out that music was a true passion, and he continued playing throughout his education. In high school, he switched to bass trombone to play in the jazz band, and ended up earning a Bachelor’s in Music Performance. He plays regularly with seven different ensembles, and subs for about a dozen more, playing everything from jazz to symphony orchestra to musicals.
